3 weeks post op today and so far Louis Is doing very well. He enjoys carrying the ball around on his toilet breaks !! He is facinated with falling leaves and twigs , birds coming into roost and will sit and watch ! .. I started to double lead him due to him feeling better in himself and starting to pull against the harness . Louis is responding well to his name , is one very loving excitable young boy . He has coped this far extremely well . He is a well travelled boy as he comes out with me on journeys ..

Louis is fed up with his crate life (2 weeks down .. only another 4/6 weeks to go ! ) It is hard work as every 2 hours I pick him up and take him out to the toilet , a change of scenery albeit for a few brief minutes ! Last Monday Louis and I made a journey to Basingstoke to meet a couple who are very interested in Louis.. The lady is an orthopaedic vet nurse and had already met Louis when he underwent surgery.. This couple have a wonderful lifestyle where Louis will fit in so well plus the knowledge and resources to help him move forward ..Louis will go forward to his new home the beginning of October…

Meet 4 month old Louis Sadly Louis had an accident running into something and damaged his elbow .. He was signed over to RSPCA Surrey Woking & District who referred him to Hamiltons Specialist Referrals after local vets had xrayed and advised a referral . He was operated on last Sunday and came to us on Wednesday. Sadly for Louis this was done on his first walk out .. an important development time for socialising with other dogs and tasting the world ... instead he is confined to a crate .. Louis arrived on Wednesday and is settling in well .. this is hard for a young pup who wants to run and play ! He is very loving…

This afternoon I popped over to see Bella after speaking with her new owners this morning who adore her...she has settled in so well and is loving her new lifestyle with best friend Elsa .. it was lovely to see her so happy and clearly devoted to her owners .. when not running around the homeland these two can be found frolicking in the hay barn which they love.. It was so lovely to see the connection between the girls and their owners and I felt so proud and happy for Bella that she has her forever loving home with people who really understand her .. 6 months ago we rehomed this young puppy Milo to a family experienced with the breed and had an older Daschund who was able to help guide Milo and teach him the ropes .. Milo went to an Amazing home and landed on all 4 paws with his new family .. I have just received these photos as today in Milos first Birthday and he looks so dapper with his bow tie ❤️ Happy Birthday Milo x

Little Pixie loved all the attention she had from the Vets and reception staff at Wells Vets this afternoon. Pixie now aged 8 weeks weighs a healthy 1.94kg, lovely skin and new hair growth.. she received her first vaccination and microchip from Vet Rachel who saw her first time round 4 weeks ago so it was lovely for her to see how well this little pup was developing .. Pixie is Chihuahua x Miniature Poodle/Cocker Spaniel

In 3 weeks this little Diva 'Pixie' has blossomed ❤️ From 500g on arrival to 1.7kg to day Tripled her weight ! Loves her food Sleeps sound all night Have taken down pen in Kitchen Crate set up up for nighttime... Lives sleeps and interacts with 1 Labrador, 4 cockers . And supervised with Buddy the terrier !! I absolutely adore this girl .. she is one amazing little character .. and if I was ready to retire I would keep her .. she is fabulous In every way with a capital "F"

It was such a pleasure to see Penny yesterday as she came to our area for a long weekend with close family for the Bristol Balloon Festival ... She looked Amazing and it was wonderful to see her .. and yes I think she remembered me .. Penny went forward as a therapy dog and has proven herself in so many ways... The love, companionship, gentleness, and healing she gives this family is beyond words ... she is helping them through incredibly tough times .. rock steady and an anchor ... We have Pixies DNA Results ... She is a Cockapoochi !!! Chihuahua x Miniature Poodle/Toy Poodle x Cocker Spaniel ... Learn something new every day !! Please note I have recieved emails from people interested in little Pixie. Her weight gain has been incredible and she has an amazing appetite.. During the day she mixes with our dogs and sleeps on their beds with them .... at night sleeps in her pen In the kitchen with her toy puppies and the beating heart under her bedding ... 8pm is crash time and ready to bed for the night.. she will not rise before 8am .. !! She likes her bed and beauty sleep 😉 Have to say this…
