Fudge needs a working home, or to be active from dawn to dusk, very responsive to the whistle and hand signals, ideal for a keeper or pro beater, he will retrieve dummies but care is needed when taking things from him, he is good in heavy cover, not met pheasants yet, but shows interest when he hears one, a very busy lad who wont be happy in a "pet" home, needs to learn steadiness but is improving, and hunts like a demon when out training, learning to sit and walking much better on the lead, tho no concept of heel when off of it, tho naturally doesnt go too far away, instant response to whistle recall. Dixie

Dixie had an uncomfortable day yesterday... lots of poos with unwanted hosts .. however this morning her tummy feels softer and she is a lot happier .. I gave her a malaseb bath yesterday and already I can see and feel a difference in her skin. Dixie is a a very playful little pup and interacting very well with the dogs...she is also a very loving pup . Since arrival on Tuesday she has slept sound all night listening to Classical music for pets ! She did not sleep much yesterday during the day but today she is so much calmer , skin a lot less itchy and no longer inflamed or hot to touch.! She is currently…

Roxie & Rosie left this morning for a whole new life where they will want for nothing . 2 Beautiful girls living a life they never knew existed .. They arrived the beginning of August a very bonded pair always looking out for each other and it was so important they were rehomed together ... Not a Spaniel but another dumped puppy in need of some TLC We have called her Dixie, she is aged approx 8 weeks old .. she has a large pot belly & Panacur treatment has begun .... is suffering a skin condition and hair loss . Just to let you know Polly has settled in well Loves her food and gets excited ! Sleeping sound at night ... Very nervous girl and will drop to the floor at loud noises or if you drop something. She has coped very well to this massive change in her life ... Things can only get better ... First short walk out in the fields .. constantly looking at me for reassurance .. eyes did catch sight of a bird 😉.

These two gorgeous girls are going out for the day tomorrow with their prospective new owners .. In preparation for their big day on Wednesday... Roxie & Rosie have been here since Aug 5th ... we were prepared for them to stay until a home could be found for the two girls together as they are very much a bonded pair! Photo now and on arrival with little Roo and they stank !' They have seen dogs come and go and accepted each days happenings . Both spayed , both healed very well , they truly are a fabulous pair ...and these two like Polly were used for breeding .... Roxie and Rosie will step out…

Beautiful Suzie...Her spay yesterday was straight forward .... Her X-rays of which there were many revealed Suzie has Arthritis.. We will be having a consult with an orthopaedic specialist for both Willow and Suzie and will be looking at physio and hydrotherapy for both girls. I was warned that Suzie would be in quite a lot of discomfort after being pulled about .. and today she was ... bless her ... She has half the hallway and a large open crate with an orthopaedic mattress in there with no interferance from the dogs so she can rest up. My heart goes out to this little one .. and like I have said so many times we can't change the past but…

Willow (Suzie's Mum). Currently in foster with the owner of Chapel Farm Canine Physio and Hydrotherapy Centre . Willow has been spayed and yesterday started her vaccination course. She is a very loving girl and is currently on a gentle exercise programme to help build up her muscles ... she could not be in a better place at the moment .
