Louis (now Fin)

Louis update..... now called Fin, is 9 weeks post op and doing very well .. he has been signed off surgically .. and his rehab is focused on strengthening muscles .. His walks have increased to 3 x 30 mins per day on a short lead. With ongoing physio and hydrotherapy. Wonderful to speak with his owner and to learn that once he is fully recovered Gundog training is on the cards ..
Merryn

Failed Foster .... This family have been amazing over the past 2 years fostering as and when needed .. Both Murphy and Merryn are Adopted through us .. Murphy first and now Merryn .. Merryn has her home for life .. she is a happy loving little girl enjoying her home life and comforts .. her tail did not stop wagging when I visited this afternoon .. She looked in great condition , her coat was sleek and shiny .. her bald areas were no more , she was a picture of health .. Merryn you landed on your 4 paws within an amazing family.. You are one lucky little girl and we wish you all the love in…
Bonnie

Meet Bonnie age unsure ! Microchip says 13 months but clearly not and has had quite a few litters ... by her teeth we estimate Approx 4-5 years . very submissive , crawls on her belly and crouches down in walk ready to hit the floor .. no muscle tone and looks to have had several litters ... she has been bathed , flead and wormed, ears treated and matts cut out.. Winnie

Winnie has touched many hearts but she is not available for adoption yet .. she has a journey ahead of her!! Today we have progress in so much she was intermittent weight bearing on the leg ... Healthy appetite, drinking plenty . Sleep is good giving her body time to heal .. cuddle monster ! Enjoys her ice pack treatment , takes her meds without fuss, oh .. and loves classical music 😉 In a nut shell .. she is Amazing ❤️
Winnie

Meet Winnie who will be 16 weeks old on Sunday.. and had a Lateral Humeral Fracture to her Left leg... She was signed over to RSPCA Surrey Woking & District who referred her to Hamilton Specialist Referrals (who also operated on Louis Almost 6 weeks ago ) Yesterday after taking Louis to his new home I drove to pick this little treasure up post op and bring her home. Beautiful pup who I am sure is bewildered by all that is going on .. Back to carrying the dog outside for the toilet .. Here we go again ... Long journey ahead ...

Louis.... His final walk with me last evening .. lots of emotions .. coat on as intermittent rain but it was dry !!! ... took coat off and it rained !!!! There's a surprise! 😂 Once Louis has settled into his new home we will update..... Wishing you all the love in the world Louis.. for a pup so young you have experienced a lot .. from here on life will get better ..

Harley and Flo shine for Paws For Conservation. Harley was not without his faults but a dog who had so much to offer... he needed the right handler to show him the way forward. Willow

Unfortunately Willow had a set back and needed further surgery to stabilise her leg. It's been a tough time for Willow but that doesn't seem to stop her! She is doing incredibly well and the vets are pleased with her progress. She is still on crate rest while her elbow heals but is settled and using her leg well when out on her toilet walks. She has little trips out in the car and lots of enrichment and cuddles to break the time up, even a lie down in the paddling pool to cool her off when it was hot! She is booked in for post op x-rays at the end of September, we are hopeful by then we can start…
