DARCIE

Sunday 29th May 2022

Darcie is Reserved...She had a lovely viewing yesterday and felt comfortable in her surroundings with a couple I know well who adopted an older dog from us 3,5 years ago and sadly lost her this year to old age. In that time as first time dog owners they learnt a lot and their confidence and knowledge grew. They enjoyed going for long walks, meeting new people, Taking their dog on holiday and for Midge to no longer be apart of their life they both felt something was missing......Yesterday Darcie and I went to their home and instantly Darcie felt comfortable... in fact she felt very comfortable lying on the lawn relaxed playing with a ball, and more…

Harley Update from Owner

Sunday 15th May 2022

Breed - ESS Detects - Bat and bird carcass & GCN Harley is a 1 year old rescue dog and the newest member of the team, he's been with me since January 2022. He came to us from Buddy's Rural Animal Rescue BRAR, the fantastic lady who runs the rescue, Judy, has a true understanding of working dogs and their needs. She allowed me to trial Harley for a longer period than usual and without pressure. This was mainly due to the fact that whilst Harley had the work ethic that is desired, he had a few issues with settling into the home, with my other dogs and resource guarding. This is managed well now and improving all of the time. Since arriving…

Saturday 14th May 2022

A post I do not want to write... Little Rosco lost his fight late yesterday afternoon .. he was deteriorating throughout the day and we were kept up to date with everything. Discussions with RSPCA Woking, Yatton Vets and me the decision was made ....he was so very poorly.. when I got there he could not hold his little head up .. so we did the honourable thing by him and laid him to rest ... In his last few days he experienced love , cuddles, tenderness, food, warmth. He did not die in pain or fear in the wretched box he was found in.. he was surrounded by love ! Everyone that has…

We have been updated through out the day and all is going in the right direction .. Rosco has not crashed since yesterday after having immediate fluids into his abdomen and a line put in to his bone. He had a comfortable night with Vet Nurse Nigel who monitored him throughout the night .. his glucose rose around midnight and he was taken off the glucose and placed on fluids. Rosco is a very hungry little pup currently syringe fed but as Nigel said if he could eat the syringe as well if he could!!!the plan was for him to hopefully show a vein so a line could be inserted and the one in the bone removed ..…
