ROXIE, ROSIE & ROO UPDATE

Wednesday 10th August 2022

Rosie, Roxie & Roo had an appointment at Yatton Vets yesterday ... they were all made a fuss of so lot of cuddles. Full health check and vaccinations started for Roxie and Roo ... Rosie has a slightly raised temperature which I was aware of and her skin is a little tender which is no surprise after what came off her. So metacam and malaseb baths will hopefully get her settled for vaccinations in the next week or two . Both girls have had a litter or two and will not be going anywhere until they have been spayed.. they need time to settle and enjoy their new found freedom The trio are all eating…

Update on FLO

Wednesday 27th July 2022

UPDATE from Paws for Conservation Aran, Willow, Nala and Flo had their first efficiency trial on our new site today..... 100%!!! Well done team! Amazing work. This is a client led efficiency trial, an ecologist is sent to site to place out a number of bats on the turbines before searches commence, so neither hander or dog know where they are placed. The ecologist then leaves the site and the team start searching, they then report back with finds and locations after searching all turbines. A special mention and well done to Flo, this is her first efficiency trial and she didn't miss a thing!! She's ready to graduate. Congratulations 🎊

DAISY UPDATE

Tuesday 26th July 2022

Update on Daisy rehomed in January this year ... You may remember Daisy was very shut down when she came here in October last year. Her fear was deep rooted and her comfort came from the dogs around her. The past can not be undone but in the right environment Daisy has been given the opportunity to shine and let her guard down. Over the past few months she has learned to relax, she feels safe secure and loved... She is now giving that love back and is happy and excited when she engages with her owners. (The photo of Daisy having her tummy rubbed shows how far she has come ... )

Thursday 14th July 2022

Called in to see the beautiful Darcie yesterday who is very settled and happy in her new home. She loves her new life and looked so much younger clearly enjoying being an only dog with all the attention on her . For her new owners Darcie is a blessing and has helped them a lot after losing their dog Midge at the grand age of 14 years. She is by no means a replacement...Midge was an older first dog adopted through us and taught them so much and gave them confidence. Darcie was very relaxed at her viewing and has had a wonderful months trial ..it was great to see her yesterday, she definitely…
