Wednesday 5th January 2022
Update on Berry … one of the two dogs that were found in the Watford Area in November last year ..A lovely sweet natured girl who is starting to come out of her shell… her skin has healed very well with lots of new hair growth all over her body and around her rear!! Berry draws her strength from the dogs around her.. she is quite a nervous girl but as each day passes we are seeing little changes. Some mornings It looks as though she has a big smile on her face … Berry has been bred from and had several litters , she also requires dental work . She is booked in for her spay…
Ivy
Wednesday 5th January 2022
Update on Ivy who is moving forward daily from strength to strength after having undergone Hind Limb amputation which was completely necrotic after being found mid December in an appalling state. The person who found her and took her to the Vets that day saved her life... (Ivy came to us through the RSPCA Woking Branch) One busy little girl who has a permanent smile on her face..... Happy to be out of pain, Happy to be Alive!!! Fantastic with all the dogs, Loves being outside, very ball focused and brings it back. Healthy appetite, Sleeps well. We are aware Ivy has a mammary tumour which will be looked at when she goes forward for her spay at the end of this…
Marley
Tuesday 14th December 2021
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Marley … Many of you followed his story in 2019 when he came here an emaciated young boy unable to walk with visible grass seed entries and dehydrated …. Marley was kept in at Our vets to rehydrate and then underwent three operations over a period of 6 weeks to remove a total of 62 grass seeds!! 52 in the first op! Marley was taken to the vets on 26th December as an emergency… upon further investigations he was found to have a large aggressive tumour and the decision was made to let him pass peacefully. Our thoughts and prayers at this sad time are with Lin…

Berry Update
Monday 13th December 2021
*UPDATE* Berry’s ears are sore due to an infection … so hopefully in 4/5 days she will start to feel a bit better…weight gain will come over time being fed good quality food (our own) and her hair will grow back but this will not happen in a few months … First goal is to sort ears out and get some weight on and cover her bones …. and build her trust with people … Moving forward Both girls have today been microchipped, and vaccinations started ❤️ Little Berry is not doing as well as the other two … on arrival she was very happy running round wagging her tail .. but noted she became quiet….her ears are very sore which…
Ivy Update
Monday 13th December 2021
IVY. Day 5 Post op This beautiful girl is an absolute trouper.. and coping very well . She has just started to eat which is great so feeding little and often She craves attention and will bury her head into your arms. Not heard a sound from her and her tail constantly wags … The vet who operated did an amazing job.. the area of amputation is very neat and tidy. The patch Ivy has on is a Fentanyl Transdermal Patch which releases a constant amount of pain medication that is absorbed into the bloodstream providing several days of pain relief … This afternoon she will be seen by our vets.. Yatton…
Holly
Sunday 12th December 2021
Holly came out with a few dogs this early morn on a long line... Nervous, Wary, but enjoyed herself... lovely to see her out and see her move... Little to no muscle in her back legs but that will change with regular exercise.... In general her skin is not too bad ..hair loss is mainly around her eyes.. I am leaning toward her being a Brittany. Lovely gentle girl craving affection...

Truly honoured to receive this Recognition Award. I was unable to attend this mornings ceremony due to the amount of dogs in.however My husband Pete went to represent Buddy’s Rural Animal Rescue . I am very proud to help our local Police Force with some fabulous dogs … A lot of time is spent with dog and handler becoming a partnership .. as one .. and I love it when I see the the change from the dog I handed over to the focused Police Dogs they become. Thank you

Bella & Harley
Thursday 25th November 2021
Bella & Harley These two make a fabulous pair & get on so well together ! This morning they ran beside each other , responded well to the whistle and stayed close.. that was all I wanted and all I asked …. Loving these two dogs … they bounce well off each other. After settling the dogs into our home with our dogs and both feeling comfortable … introducing them to a different life than the one they were used to … it was just lovely to know they were both with me and wanted to be with me… responsive and loved it !
Daisy Update
Sunday 21st November 2021
Update on Daisy who has been with us 6 weeks now .. She is now starting to respond to us instead of tensing up or trying to bury herself in her bed … In the mornings she wags her tail and is so pleased to see us so progress there ! She loves her morning walks and as each day passes I see her confidence start to grow. She adores Eli and follows him everywhere… It is wonderful to see Daisy begin to open up… (you can clearly see how heavily she was used for breeding) She still has a long journey ahead of her but for now she is doing great… There is now…
