Well !! This is a first for me … I have fitted Bailey up with a Ruff Wear Harness and what a difference
He is so incredibly strong and this has made a huge difference !
I have been working with Bailey in an enclosed paddock and he is starting to respond to recall on the whistle .
There is something about this boy I absolutely adore … and he will stay with me until I find the perfect home for him !!!
He is stunning ! Responsive, Eager to learn , Incredibly Loving, Sensitive, Comical , loves the ball and will search till he finds! Inquisitive and a desire to learn ……this is where I get annoyed ..A dog with so much potential locked up in a crate for 3 years because the owners could not handle him. Lean and borderline skeletal where you could feel every bone in his body .. hip bones protruding, No muscle tone , Head too big for his body , Tail that broke open and bled every time it was knocked says it all !!!
Bailey came from Doodle Trust as we had already established a connection .. I appealed to them for help with a Labradoodle as it was their breed and they stepped up to the mark and were very professional … equally they contacted me Re Bailey for my help and I reciprocated ( hopefully I was as professional 😉) Between Rescues we kept each other up to date with developments with the dogs!
There are so many dogs I could keep .. but for every dog I wish to keep its a space I could give to another dog that needs our help.. and that is what we do .. As said many times .. Peter and I do this because it’s our passion .. it’s not a job , it’s not about making money as we have personally funded the Rescue since we started .. We love what we do .. the dogs are and always will be our priority . They live in our home, assessed 24/7 , For the of love of Dogs 🐕l!!!
Bailey is a Cocker Spaniel x Irish Water Spaniel.
