Update on Little Jake ( Week 3). Aged approx 6weeks . Today we have brought Jake down stairs into the kitchen where he will spend some time getting used to the sounds of everyday life also the dogs .. although still very tiny he has almost tripled his weight since his arrival three weeks ago .. but not quite reached the 2lb mark ! The puncture wound on his shoulder has completely healed and new hair growth visible. His head also has new hair growth. The bald spots that were on his right hand side have almost covered leaving just a few on his left side... Every day he changes in appearance .....

Cute Overload' Short video taken this morning of Jake discovering his body ! Now weighing in at 26oz and body functioning well ! Mange condition is under ongoing treatment and responding well .....2nd dose of 3 day worming with Panacur ... worms seen after first dose and nothing seen since ! Loving his puppy food (our own food) and coping very well .. currently on measured amounts as he will over eat given the chance ! Healthy appetite for a growing boy! Very Responsive Alert little boy.. I still can't make his breed out so have done a DNA test and we await his results ... He is changing by the day in terms of appearance and…

Jake continues to gain weight daily ❤️ His recorded weight on arrival was 10.8oz, he now weighs 20.25 (almost doubled his weight) so going in the right direction .. We have introduced him to our own puppy food soaked and ready for the days 4 hourly feeds combined with puppy milk. He is now taking this from a small bowl .. Body functions are good and all looks healthy. Jake makes the most endearing sounds. Wags his tail, Is becoming playful for short periods , loves his cuddles, and loves Dinky .. Another 3 days of worming due towards end of week... All in all the little one is doing great ...

Little Jake's future is looking positive daily... Yesterday he weighed in at 16.2oz .... A healthy weight gain since his arrival.. Thank you so much to everyone for your love and support for this little one .

Meet Jake.... Abandoned and left to Die ... There are no words !!! Jake came to us through RSPCA Surrey Woking & District Branch. He came to us last Thursday and was straight to our vet Yatton Vets .. A very poorly boy ! (We were expecting 2 but sadly one died) Recorded weight 10.8oz Our vet Ciara clipped around areas of matted coat to reveal puncture wounds on his left shoulder and also on his right side .. these were cleaned and left open to heal .. A very skinny Tiny little pup that looked out of proportion, large head , bulging eyes , and a heavy worm burden which has been treated. He is under a heat lamp…
