The Reality of Rescue

The Reality of Rescue

Wednesday 2nd March 2022

Today we said Goodbye to a beautiful young Pup aged just 15 weeks old.
Her time with us was so short but we knew instantly on receiving her that pain ravaged her little skeletal body and her eyes searched for comfort for the pain she was in. A young pup unable to defecate and would cry in pain on trying to lift her to sooth her, she was unable to find a comfortable position to alleviate her pain and her cries were pitiful.....So terribly sad for everyone involved...Heartbreakingly Sad!!!!
Questions asked had we had her sooner would the outcome have been different?.... the answer was maybe but probably not..... .
I and the people involved have cried loads this afternoon but draw comfort she is no longer in pain
This little one has affected us deeply and its hard.
She is being privately cremated and will come back to us.
This is the reality of Rescue the behind the scenes you dont hear about.... it is truly heart-breaking.
Beyond words If I am honest ...
One day my feet will walk those steps and all my past dogs will walk beside me and guide me.....
