HOLLY

Friday 28th February 2020

This morning it was all about Holly
She is now 8 weeks post op on both her front legs.
Incomplete Ossification of the humeral Condyle (IOHC)
L leg is plated and Screw / R Leg is Screw
Aside from a visit to the vet to remove stitches/staples Holly has been on complete rest.
This morning she had an appointment with Dr Veerle Dejonckheere at Chapel Farm Rehab for the next stage of her Rehabilitation and the first of many appointments. Today was Physio, Laser treatment and also acupuncture which Holly was completely relaxed with.....
Her way forward now is short gentle lead walks for the next week followed by hydrotherapy which will begin with the Treadmill building up to the pool.
I think Holly enjoyed her morning out and I know that Veerle thought Holly was pretty special.!
Holly is walking very well and has been a superstar....Once she has settled in to her Hydrotherapy and her muscles are more balanced I would like to take her back to meet the surgeon William Oldham and the team that looked after her at Hook Norton Veterinary Group in Oxfordshire
