Full credit to his Handler/Trainer Rachel Flavell owner of Paws For Conservation. ( The one who saw his potential and believed in Harley ... and Harley in return has proven how good he can be ... In between Christmas and new year Pete and I were invited to visit Pixie and have lunch ... I was blown away how much she had grown .. lovely size weighing in just over 4kg! Yesterday January 11th marked 8 years to the day we caught Buddy .. His name has gone forward representing the hundreds of dogs we have worked with over the years .. and yes the blue sky was the other day on top of the Mendips !

The stunning Ralph has been adopted .. he had a successful trial period , came back here for a week over new year whilst the family went on a pre booked holiday .. when I took him home he was so pleased to see his new owner. Liked this boy a lot he is such an easy biddable lovely smart boy . Ralph you are one Amazing dog....x

Meet 2 year old Ringo with his new owner ... This lady had not long lost her dog to a brain tumour at quite a young age but I had her in mind when I was approached for help to rehome a dog just before Christmas. Let's just say she was thrilled to bits and very excited to meet this little man who has well and truly bonded with her ... Ringo has been seen by our vets and had a health check and vaccination restart so he is ready for fun and adventures. He has made many friends both canine and human. Ralph

Stunning Ralph went forward on trial to his new family and home yesterday. I met with them and their spaniel Archie last week and went for a walk so the dogs could meet on neutral territory, also to show what he was like outside. I have thoroughly enjoyed having this young dog to stay with us, he blended in so well and enjoyed the companionship of the dogs .. he loved my youngest Kizi as you can see in the photo! Lovely easy happy loving boy who needed to form that bond with his new family as he was getting very attached to us here .

Beautiful Bonnie has been adopted by the parents of the couple who fostered her for us .. It was lovely to meet up yesterday and to see how much more confident she had grown over the past weeks .. Bonnie arrived in quite a poor state having been bred from .. she has now been spayed and is physically and emotionally ready to venture forward to her forever home. The beauty of this story is that Bonnie and new owners met on a regular basis so they were not strangers to each other, and Bonnie has just the right amount of energy for them which is perfect, (not fast and zippy nor a couch potato, mixes well with dogs and…

Meet Ralph... 18 month old Male Blue Roan Sprocker. Lovely Boy .. The family made contact with us a couple of weeks ago asking for help as their home situation had changed and they wanted Ralph to move forward and have what they were not able to give him .. TIME... which was having an impact on Ralph as he would howl due to spending too much time on his own ... In a bizarre twist they lived in a beautiful part of Cornwall where we had already booked a fisherman's cottage on the sea front to unwind pre Christmas. This amazing photo speaks volumes ... Penny an abused puppy came to us aged 5 weeks old , pot bellied , mange and in a bad way ... fast forward to now and she is a picture of health , fit, healthy, skin & coat in amazing condition.. but above all she is the life long companion for this little girl and her family .. Penny went forward as a therapy dog and has proven herself to be 100% within the family environment... Helping the family to heal and move forward.. and a dog I am extremely proud of ... Congratulations Beautiful Livi and her amazing owner Louise for achieving 2nd place in their first KC Agility Competition ... The message to me came as follows :- She's incredible...so so so much natural drive and enthusiasm - I'm learning how to run her and contain it 😆. We have some amazingly supportive trainers/coaches and I'm really excited about getting out properly with her in the Spring 🥰. Hope you are all well x Plus, she's the MOST loving dog I've ever met...pet first, always 😍 I Love this and look forward to where next year takes them ....!

Beautiful Leyla has her home for life and has settled In very well. She has bonded well with her new family and her canine companion Ash. They attend weekly dog training classes which they all enjoy...and I have enjoyed seeing the videos of their training ! Perfect home for this beautiful little girl who deserves the best. Little Dora the Cocker Spaniel came in a couple of weeks ago and went straight in to foster with a lady who works her own dogs .. She was very taken with little Dora and after meeting up with Andy Bluffield Gundog Training for his reassurance that she was the right home for this little bundle she called me to say she would like her to stay ... Already in a couple of weeks I can see a much more confident little girl who is already making her presence known within Andy's Training Circle .. 😉 She has met the chickens , Guinea fowl and sheep ... so off to a great start ...
